Girls Create History in Punjab Class 12 Results 2026 with Perfect 500/500 Marks in Top Three Positions

Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has announced the Class 12 board examination results 2026 with an impressive overall pass percentage of 91.46 percent. This year’s results created history as three girl students secured perfect 500 out of 500 marks and swept the top three positions across Science and Humanities streams. The remarkable achievement has brought pride to Punjab’s education sector and highlighted the growing academic excellence among students in the state.

 

Supneet Kaur from Gurukul Academy Public Senior Secondary School, Ubbha in Mansa district secured the first position in the Science stream with a flawless 500/500 score. Suhani Chauhan from BCM Senior Secondary School, Jamalpur Colony, Focal Point, Ludhiana claimed the second position in the Humanities stream with perfect marks, while Divanshi from Teja Singh Sutantar Memorial Senior Secondary School, Shimlapuri, Ludhiana secured the third position with another perfect score in Humanities. All three toppers are also talented sportspersons, making their achievement even more inspiring.

 

According to official data, a total of 2,65,417 students appeared for the Punjab Class 12 annual examinations, out of which 2,42,755 students successfully passed. The Commerce stream recorded the highest pass percentage at 98.78 percent, followed closely by Science at 98.47 percent. Humanities registered 87.74 percent, while the Vocational stream achieved 87.80 percent results.

 

Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains praised the hard work of students, dedication of teachers and education reforms introduced by the Punjab Government under Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. He stated that digital classrooms, teacher training initiatives and timely syllabus completion played a major role in improving academic performance across the state.

 

The Punjab Class 12 results 2026 have once again highlighted the strong performance of girl students and the improving standards of education in Punjab. The outstanding achievements of the toppers are expected to inspire thousands of students across the state to aim for academic excellence in future board examinations.
