Chandigarh, September 15, 2026: The PHHP & C Directorate has achieved a remarkable feat at the All India Thal Sainik Camp (AITSC) 2026, held in Delhi from August 31 to September 12, 2026.

The Senior Wing Girls Team created history by securing the Overall 2nd Position at AITSC 2026, marking a significant achievement for the Directorate. The girls delivered an outstanding performance, winning a total of 32 medals, including 13 Gold, 18 Silver and 1 Bronze medal.

The Boys contingent also put up an impressive performance, securing 14 medals. Their tally included 4 Gold Medals in Service Shooting, along with 1 Silver and 9 Bronze Medals in Map Reading.

Overall, the cadets of the PHHP & C Directorate won 42 medals at the prestigious national-level camp. Their performance showcased their determination, discipline, competitive spirit and high level of preparation.

The Directorate has maintained a strong record in recent editions of AITSC. The Boys Team secured the first position in 2024 and 2025, while the Senior Wing Girls Team’s Overall 2nd Position in 2026 has further strengthened the Directorate’s record at the prestigious camp.

The medal-winning cadets were felicitated on September 14, 2026, at Ropar NCC Academy by Maj Gen Narinder Singh, SM, ADG NCC, PHHP & C Directorate. He congratulated the cadets on their outstanding performance and appreciated their dedication, discipline and hard work.

The ADG NCC also lauded the efforts of Cdr Amritsar Group NCC and the team of dedicated trainers. He highlighted the important role played by sustained training, guidance and meticulous preparation in helping the cadets deliver such an impressive performance.

The achievement is a proud moment for the PHHP & C Directorate and NCC, reflecting the collective efforts of cadets, ANOs, PI Staff, trainers and the Directorate. Their teamwork, dedication and systematic preparation helped them make a strong mark at the national-level competition.
