The investigation into the murder of Punjabi social media influencer and makeup artist Madhusudan Singh, popularly known as Mad Sandhu, has taken a significant turn with the arrest of three more accused in Gujarat. The Gujarat Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS), in coordination with the Valsad Special Operations Group (SOG), apprehended the suspects from Vapi town in Gujarat’s Valsad district.
The three accused have been identified as Harsimranjit Singh alias Simu Singga, Fateh Singh and Arman Singh. All three are reportedly residents of Sange village in Tarn Taran district of Punjab.
According to police officials, the arrests were made following information shared by Punjab Police investigators. The suspects were subsequently taken into Punjab Police custody for further investigation and legal proceedings.
Three Accused Arrested in Gujarat’s Vapi
The Gujarat ATS launched an investigation after receiving inputs from Punjab Police’s Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) regarding the suspected involvement of the three men in the murder case.
During the investigation, officials traced the suspects to Vapi in Valsad district. Their details and suspected location were shared with the local SOG, which conducted an operation and detained them.
The suspects were brought to the Gujarat ATS office for questioning. Investigators said the interrogation helped them gather information about the alleged roles of the accused and the reconnaissance reportedly conducted before the shooting.
A Punjab Police team subsequently reached the Gujarat ATS office on October 10 and took custody of all three men to continue the investigation in Punjab.
Mad Sandhu Was Shot Dead in Amritsar
Mad Sandhu, whose real name was Madhusudan Singh, was shot dead on October 3, 2026, near a car washing centre on Loharka Road in Amritsar.
According to the information released by investigating agencies, two motorcycle-borne assailants allegedly opened fire on him. A murder case was registered at the Cantonment Police Station in Amritsar, and Punjab Police launched an investigation to identify those involved in the killing.
Sandhu was known for his social media presence and work as a makeup artist, fashion stylist and content creator. He had built a significant following online and was recognised for his distinctive fashion choices and digital content.
His killing sparked concern among his followers and the wider Punjabi social media community.
Earlier Arrest in the Murder Case
Before the latest arrests, the Ahmedabad Crime Branch had arrested Parminder Prasad, also known as Parminder Kaka, in connection with the case on October 8.
Investigators identified him as an alleged shooter and accused him of arranging the motorcycle used in the attack. These allegations remain part of the ongoing investigation.
Authorities are also examining the suspected links of the murder with the network of gangster Goldy Dhillon. The precise roles of the accused and any wider criminal connections are being investigated by the police.
Punjab Police Continues Investigation
With three additional suspects now in Punjab Police custody, investigators are expected to examine the alleged planning behind the murder, the suspects’ individual roles and any possible connections between those involved.
The arrests in Gujarat represent another development in the investigation into Mad Sandhu’s killing. Further details about the motive and the complete sequence of events are expected to emerge as the investigation progresses.
