The Writing Contest Program for Teaching Staff is organized by the Election Department on September 5 to celebrate Teacher’s Day and recognize the services rendered by the teaching staff in the election work. Under which the teachers on election duty shared their experiences on election subject, suggestions for improving the election duty and their views on the challenges encountered during election duty during Covid-19. In this regard 49 teachers from Bathinda district participated in the writing contest. This information was shared by Tehsildar Election Shri Bharat Bhushan.

Disclosing this here today Mr. Bharat Bhushan said that the judging committee constituted by the District Education Officer (Secondary) has given marks to each text on the basis of originality of the text, content, consistency of writing, vocabulary, writing and readability etc. Given. On the basis of which the result was declared. Mr. Pushpesh Kumar, Lecturer, Govt. Senior Secondary School, Pars Ram Nagar bagged the first place, Mr. Sunil Kumar Gupta, Principal, Govt. Senior Secondary School, Burj Gill bagged the second place and Mr. Swaran Singh Maher, Superintendent, Govt.

Sharing more details, the Tehsildar Election said that the details of the first, second and third place winners of all the districts at the state level were sent to the headquarters. After considering the three best entries out of the total entries received at the state level, the prize money of Rs. 1500, Rs. 1000 and Rs. 500 will be selected and certificates will be issued to the winning candidates at the district level.

Apart from this Mr. Suresh God, Assistant Sweep Nodal Officer also participated in the competition, the details of which have also been sent separately to the Head Office. Out of the entries received from the Sweep Nodal Officers of the districts at the state level, the best entry would be given a separate prize money of Rs. 1500 and a certificate.
