In response to a question posed by Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh during his weekly Facebook Live program, a local resident Rajat said that no one involved in illicit liquor smuggling would be spared. He also clarified that the smuggler, be it small, big, middle or officer, would be dealt with severely and legal action would be taken against him.
The Chief Minister termed the dharnas being staged by the opposition parties regarding illicit liquor as unreasonable and termed it as clumsy politics. Apart from this he shared his views in favor of the farmers and said that no farmer’s tubewell power would be allowed to be shut down.
Earlier during the live program he spoke to the people of Punjab in view of the Corona epidemic and asked them to ensure that they wear masks and wash their hands frequently for the betterment of pthemselves, their families, neighbors and Punjabis in this difficult time. He also said that from 75 The epidemic can be prevented only by wearing 80% of the masks. The Chief Minister also clarified that although no cure has been developed for the treatment of this disease, the virus can be prevented only with diet.
