HPCL presents infrastructure worth Rs 75.87 lakh to 13 government schools in the district

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited is playing an important role in rejuvenation of government schools, undertaking the upliftment of government schools in villages falling under the HPCL pipeline under Corporate Social Responsibility at a cost of Rs 75.87 lakh in 13 government schools so far. A special program was organized on January 29 at the Government Senior Secondary School in village Kotbakhtu under the government school upliftment campaign HPCL General Manager Mr. Manoj Kumar Sharma presented the aid material to the school as per their need. He called upon the children to study hard and bring good numbers. He said that for the purpose of promoting education, useful infrastructure and facilities have been provided in government schools according to the need, so that the results of the children will be excellent due to the good quality of education in the schools.
General Manager Mr. Manoj Kumar Sharma gave information about the activities of the company and activities of social responsibility. He said that 13.45 lakh was given to Primary School in Kotbakhtu and Rs. 18 lakh to Government Senior Secondary School.So far, 6 smart class rooms, 38 computers, 3 RCO water plants, 10 toilets, 70 ceiling fans, 240 dual desks, 268 chairs, 11 library tables, 51 shelves, 35 glass shelves, 15 computer tables in 13 schools in the district. And providing 52 dustbins.
Chief Manager of Rama Mandi Dispatch Station Bathinda, Mr. Akhlaq Ahmed gave detailed information about the safety of Rama Mandi-Rewari Kanpur HPCL underground oil pipeline. He said that Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited has laid underground pipeline for supply of petrol, diesel and kerosene. He requested that if any suspicious activity is detected in the area of the pipeline, it should be immediately informed on the toll free number 1800-180-1276 of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited.
ROU officer Mr. Jitendra Kumar informed that on behalf of HPCL, Government Primary School Jassi Pau Wali, Government Primary School Naseebpura, Government Primary School Kotashmir, Government Primary School Gulabgarh, Government Primary School Kotbakhtu, Government Primary School Katarsingh Wala, Government Primary School Kotashmir Vander Patti, Government High School Naseebpura, Government High School Katar Singh Wala, Government Senior Secondary School Kotbakhtu, Government Senior Secondary School Gulabgarh, Government Senior Secondary School Ramsara,Necessary items have been provided in 13 schools including Government Senior Secondary School Jassi Pau Wali.
While presiding over the program, DEO Secondary Sanjeev Kumar welcomed the guests and thanked the HPCL Company for providing the requisite material to the government schools in the village. In this occasion DSSM Mohinder Pal Singh are present here. This program has been managed by the staff of the govt primary and secondary School and the dignitaries of the village.
