796 crorna victims return home after recovery
Total 29598 samples taken so far in the district

District Deputy Commissioner Shri B. Disclosing this here today Mr. Srinivasan said that so far 29598 samples have been taken in the district under COVID-19 out of which a total of 1601 positive cases have been reported, out of which 796 crorna victims have recovered and returned to their respective homes. He also informed that at present a total of 612 cases are active in the district and 170 cases have been shifted to other districts. In addition, 23 crorna affected people have died in the district so far.
The Deputy Commissioner further said that in the last 24 hours, 8 positive, 310 negative and 49 corona affected patients returned home after recovery.
Deputy Commissioner Shri.B. Srinivasan appealed to the people of the district. Significant steps are being taken by the government to prevent covid-19.He warned the public that corona is a deadly virus,Which is often spread by contact with each other.The only cure for this is to avoid it.
The Deputy Commissioner warned the residents of the district against Corona and said that everyone must wear a mask to avoid the virus.Also keep a distance of 2 yards between them and Reduce coordination. Wash hands frequently with soap or sanitizer.He appealed to the elders and children to refrain from leaving their homes.
