Total 32890 samples taken so far in the district – Deputy Commissioner
1214 corona victims return home recovered

The Deputy Commissioner of the district, Shri. Disclosing this here today, Srinivasan said that so far 32890 samples have been taken in the district under COVID-19 out of which a total of 2190 positive cases have been reported, out of which 1214 crore victims have recovered and returned home. A total of 663 cases are active in the district and 285 cases have been shifted to other districts besides 28 crore affected persons have died in the district so far.
The Deputy Commissioner further said that in the last 24 hours, 70 positive, 318 negative and 70 corona affected patients returned to their respective homes after recovery.
